Hi I'm Rosie

I was born of goodly parents. My goal in life is to be as good as I can possibly be. I am LDS, a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. My interests and talents are musically inclined. I love to sing in collegiate choirs and participate in marching and concert bands. I also love to be involved in theatre; on stage in musicals and regular plays that are wholesome and entertaining. Hobbies I do during my leisure include reading, practicing piano, and serving those around me.

Why I am a Mormon

I know for myself that this Church is true. I have inquired for myself by searching the scriptures, studying the words of the prophets, and examining the organization of the Church when Christ ministered upon the earth. My answer is continually before me as I observe the Priesthood authority work miracles in every aspect of life that continues to testify of Christ. I know that it is only through the Atonement of Christ that all mankind may be saved; based upon the priciples of righteousness and His commandments. I love the Lord, and in Him my soul delights.

How I live my faith

Every Sunday I have the opportunity to worship my Savior by singing hymns of praise unto Him, partaking of the Sacrament, and making covenants. Covenants are promises I've made with my Father in Heaven to improve myself daily. Through worshipping the Savior I have come to emulate His example. My path to follow Jesus Christ does not occur only on Sunday. Throughout the week I make daily goals to live according to religious standards that continually direct me to strengthening relationships with family, community, and Father in Heaven.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Rosie
God is our Heavenly Father, and we are His children. He created a plan for us to come to earth to be tested and tried, so that we could choose for ourselves to follow Him, providing us to opportunity to dwell with Him forever. The family unit we have here on earth can be eternal; it can last forever. Show more Show less
