Hi I'm Jenny

I am 21 years old, I love to spend time with my family and friends, I work as a dental assistant and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I went to school to be a dental assistant and have been working full time for almost 2 years. I love to spend time with my family. Some of my hobbies include hiking with my dad, and I like to keep a record of things so I have always loved journalism and scrap booking to remember all the good memories.

Why I am a Mormon

I love this gospel with everything in me. It is the one thing that has brought true happiness in my life. I have prayed and read the book of Mormon to know if it is true for myself. When I follow the Saviors example, it gives me a feeling of peace and comfort. He is always there and he always answers our prayers. If you follow him and put your trust in him then everything will work out in ways that you could have never imagined. His plan for us is so much greater than any plan we could have made for ourselves. I know that a prophet named Joseph smith saw heavenly father and Jesus Christ because he sincerely wanted the truth and through our savior he restored the true and living gospel back to this earth today.I know the authority to act in gods name is here on earth to bless the lives of others, I know it has blessed my life! I know with out a doubt in my mind that this gospel is true and that I can make it back to my father and heaven someday and live forever with my family. I know he loves each and every one of us individually and with out him i would be nothing. I love my Savior and I know that he died for us so we can all make it back to our loving heavenly father someday. I know that as I follow the commandments and the teachings of our true and living prophet then I can always feel this joy and happiness that you can't find anywhere else. That is what makes this gospel so incredible, that is why I love it so much and that is why I am a Mormon!

How I live my faith

I am a pretty outgoing person, so I love to be social and talk with others. I feel like this has helped me participate in my community and my ward. I have been in charge of planning activity's with a young single adult ward I attended while living away from home and that was a blast. We did all sorts of fun things. Paint fights, movie nights, played games, and just had fun! I was also president of my young women's group when I was 16 years old. As president you help watch out for the girls in the group and help plan activity's and ways to help grow closer and make friends. It was a very good experience and I will never forget the positive impact my young womens group has had on me. I have also had amazing opportunities to serve others. It wasn't always big things, we mostly helped neighbors pull weeds or wash windows or babysit when they needed it. Every year for thanksgiving we would collect food from members in the ward to give to those who didn't have the means to buy a thanksgiving dinner. We would also visit assisted living or nursing homes and help them out wit the things they needed. I always look back and remember how good it felt to be in the service of others and how grateful I was to be apart of that.
