Hi I'm Kat

I'm a Mormon

About Me

Im the oldest of three, Im a college student, and super spontaneous. I have a wonderful, loving, understanding family who has taught me how to work hard, be ambitious, never to lose faith in Christ and most importantly love everyone you meet. Along side I have a grip of friends that I love spending time with. Nothing makes me happier than making those around me laugh or seeing them happy. I love live music and I enjoy doing charcoal art & graphic design. I'm pretty easy going, I like boxing, hiking/cliff jumping, sports, and going to the beach ... pretty much anything outside. I really enjoy experiencing new things. For the next 18 months I'll be serving a mission in Arizona Mesa trying to help as many as I can come closer to Christ. (:

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this church is true. I know that our Heavenly Father has a plan specifically for me & for you. I know our Lord, Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ suffered more pain than I will ever be able to understand for not only me but for the rest of the humanity. I know that through Jesus Christ I can and will be forgiven, as long as I humble myself and come unto Him. I know that Joseph Smith was called to be a prophet, I know He saw God the Father and Jesus Christ. I can feel in my heart, this is the one and only true church. This is a church of continual change and hope, I know if I am steadfast and immovable the Lord will always be on my side and I will not fail. This gospel is more than just something to believe in, its something to act upon constantly. Its asking us to love fiercely, serve abundantly, hope endlessly and strive to be better than you were the day before. even if you have just faith & nothing else you'll have everything,

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply serving others and loving them for what potential they have. Living my faith is the foundation of not only following my Savior, but trying to become more like him. I live my faith by each trial I am so grateful to bare and overcome. I have become a firm believer that your future is only as bright as your faith. I build upon my faith each day by praying with sincere graditude and striving to be and do my very best eachday but serving those around me and living up to the simple principles, small day-to-day things that make all the difference. I attend church every Sunday and I study my scriptures diligently, without the gospel of Jesus Christ I would be nothing.
