Hi I'm Rachel Caroline

I love to dance. I studied in Jerusalem. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am a missionary in the Taipei, Taiwan mission, which I absolutely love. Coming to Taiwan on a mission was a dream come true for me, and I don't think I have ever been happier. Before serving a mission, I studied Economics at Brigham Young University as well as taking classes to prepare to apply to Physician's Assistant School. I am fascinated with the human body and want to find an occupation that provides opportunities to connect with other people and make a difference in their lives, so I think the medical field is the place for me. I grew up with three older brothers and the best parents in the world. Everything good in my life is a result of their love, teaching, and examples, and they are the most important things in my life. I love to learn, and serving a mission in Taiwan has made me fall even more in love with Chinese culture and the Mandarin language.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon, and know that its teachings of Christ are true. I have felt peace and assurance in my mind and heart that testify to me that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and that he performed an infinite Atonement for every person who ever has and ever will live. I have lived the doctrine taught by the LDS church, and I know that it brings happiness. I know that God loves His children more than I can comprehend, and that that love cannot be changed by any choices we make. He will always be rooting for you. Discovering these things for myself has not been easy, nor is my discovery process over. My knowledge of these truths is based on faith, and not on physical proof, and I do not expect that I will ever have physical proof to guide me. I simply know there is a spirit about the Book of Mormon that I cannot deny, and I invite any who have not read and prayed to know it is true to do so. I testify that God will here and answer your prayer if you are sincere and listening with your heart.

How I live my faith

My beliefs affects everything I do, and I am always trying to be more like my Savior, Jesus Christ. I often fail, but as I try to see others as Jesus Christ would see them, I find that I want to help other people, to uplift them and shine some light and happiness into their lives. Being a missionary gives me the chance to share with everyone the thing that means the very most to me. I rely on the Atonement of our Savior everyday, I slowly change and improve, and give others the opportunity to do the same.

Are Mormons Christians?

Rachel Caroline
Some do not consider Mormons Christians because Mormons do not accept the trinity as most Christian sects do. We believe in three separate beings, God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost, who are one in purpose but not in substance. Show more Show less
