Hi I'm Elder Spencer Cottrell

I was born in Utah but grew up all over the United States because my father was in the U.S. Army. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah but lived all over the United States moving around with my family because my father was serving in the U.S. Army. I've met many different kinds of people and enjoyed the opportunity to see most of the country in which I live in. I graduated high school in New York of the class of 2011. Where I learned to love and play Lacrosse, which I never heard of until moving to New York. My dad has since retired and now works for the State of Utah.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to parents that were already members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They taught me what I had to do to be happy in this life and in the next. I learned growing up that they were true and when I followed their teachings, I was happy. Whenever I am not trying my best, I can feel an uneasy feeling that makes me want to draw nearer to Christ again. The more I put into Studying the scriptures, praying and obeying the commandment, I am happier.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as a missionary in Anaheim, California But I will be going to Buenos Aires South mission as soon as I get my Visa.
