Hi I'm Braden

I am a competitive weightlifter, a singer, and I love the Lord Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old guy, currently serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. To start, I was born and raised in an Mormon household. I was adopted right from birth into the family I have now. I love my family so much! I love the support they give to me. As for what I do/have done with my life, I: Played football, wrestled, and ran track in High School I sang in multiple choirs and competed vocally I was an editor for my school newspaper I currently compete in Powerlifting, where I hold a couple national records. I love athletic activites, I really enjoy being active. However, I still like reading, writing, playing video games, and eating. Gotta be well rounded, you know? I truly love my faith as well. The Gospel has brought so much peace, joy, and strength to my life. I wouldn't trade my beliefs for anything.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is true. I have found this for myself through prayer.. I have sincerely asked my Heavenly Father if the things I have learned through attending church and studying scripture are true. This knowledge, that I have a loving God in Heaven, that I have access to the Atonement of Jesus Christ, that God loves us enough to give us a prophet on this earth today, is invaluable. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has completely changed my life for the better. If I wasn't sure of the truthfulness of this church, there would be no way I would have left home for two years! I know that Joesph Smith was a true prophet called of God. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that by reading the book of Mormon, and sincerely asking God if the book is true, you will know, through the power of the Holy Ghost, that it is true. I love Jesus Christ. I am humbled to be His servant. I know that through the Atonement, we can be made clean of all guilt and sorrow. I know that through the Atonement, Christ has suffered through all of our trials individually, meaning He knows exactly how to comfort and support us in times of need. I know that the Atonement is for everyone. All have access to it, but it requires effort. We need to follow the example Jesus Christ set in His mortal life. We need to try our best to be like Him in all that we do. I pray that if you are reading this, and you want to know if this is truth, that you will have the courage to ask your friends, family, or other associates who may be members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints about their faith. If you don't know anyone who is Mormon, you can send the missionaries to yourself through mormon.org! Do it! It can do nothing but better your life and the lives of those around you.

How I live my faith

Well, I live my faith by serving a full-time mission! I am currently serving in the Las Vegas. I love it here! I love the people, the sunshine, and the ability to be a full-time servant of God. While being out here on a mission, I get to spend all my time sharing the good news that the Gospel of Jesus Christ brings. Some people might think I'm crazy, leaving family, friends, school, and all sorts of other things back at home. It is a sacrifice, but it gives me a unique opprotunity to grow as close Jesus Christ as possible. Also, I have the chance to meet so many wonderful, interesting people. I get to work to strengthen faith, and to help bring joy, happiness, and peace into the lives of all who I come in contact with. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is for everyone!
