Hi I'm Anna Guyer

I grew up in North Carolina. I love movies and sports. I love to smile. I am currently a senior at BYU. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 4 kids in my family. I have enjoyed growing up with loving parents and siblings that guide and support me. I am currently attending college studying Bioinformatics. My favorite subjects in school are math and science. I love watching and playing sports and have done so almost my entire life. My favorite sports to play are volleyball and softball. Watching movies is one of my favorite pass times. From comedies to action movies, I love them all. I served as missionary for the church in Spokane, Washington and Manaus, Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the faith that I have developed throughout my life. I was born into a family that belonged to the Mormon church and therefore grew up a member. However, as I grew older this was not enough I began to feel a need to develop a testimony of my own. Through this I began to more fully delve into my own scripture study as well as pray more diligently to my Heavenly Father. Through this I began to feel more fully the hand and the love of Christ in my daily life. I could sense that He is there, that He knows me, that He loves me, that He guides me, that teaches me, and that He knows what is best for me. The more I noticed this the more I felt the love of my Heavenly Father and through this I developed the strongest part of my testimony that I have come to cherish today and that is that I, you, and everyone that ever was or will be are Sons and Daughters of our Heavenly Father. He knows us, He loves us, He walks with us, He cares for us, and He will never lead us astray. I have a testimony that Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are real, that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and it is true, that we have Latter-day Prophets that lead and guide us today, that they receive modern day revelation that is for the benefit of the people on earth, that the power of prayer is real, Heavenly Father hears and answers prayers, and that we all can return home to live with our Father in Heaven someday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my daily actions and how I live my life. I strive to show the love of Christ to others through my interactions and service in my community. In my ward I serve as a leader helping to organize and maintain various groups within the ward. We strive to promote support and understanding though getting to know one another and building comradeship within the ward. I am in charge of making sure that each ward member is doing well and that they are taken care of, as well as that various aspects of daily church activities are carried through with. I love the opportunity that I have been given to serve and grow through my service.
