Hi I'm Kristin

I grew up in Nebraska. I attend college at the University of Kansas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time student and also work full time. I enjoy swimming competitively, learning to play the piano and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were converted when I was still very young, and I was baptized when I was 8 years old. However my parents didn't continue to stay active in church right after I was baptized. When I turned 12, I decided to attend church by myself with help from my Leaders. After moving to Kansas when I was 15, I stopped going to church all together, until I moved to go to College. I am an active member and was truly converted when I came back to church. Although I was baptized at 8, conversion is different. I chose to come back because I knew it was true, and I finally came to the realization that I need my Lord and Savior to guide me in this life. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church of Christ restored on the earth today through His prophet, Joseph Smith. I continue to follow His teachings and His gospel because it is true. It isn't just my religion, it isn't a label - it is a way of life.

How I live my faith

The ward I attend is a University Singles Ward. I currently am an events coordinator for the Single Adults that attend the ward. We meet every Monday night, have a spiritual thought and play games. Aside from church callings, I live my faith every minute of every day. It gives me drive and a reason for everything I do.
