Hi I'm Lacey

I'm a writer, cupcake junkie, and excessive daydreamer. I also have very curly hair. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to write. I love it so much that I'm studying communication at my university, and my dream is to be a PR professional in the healthcare industry. My curiosity is unending; you could call me a forever learner. I love to explore science, the world around me, and the worlds I find in books. I also like to make things. Craft supplies are frequently scattered around my room, and my hands are usually covered in ink stains, paint, and glue.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, but my testimony has done the most growing while I've been at college. I've been met with many challenges and I've encountered so many people with different backgrounds and amazing stories to tell. I crave knowing the truth behind things, and I like to study scriptures and words of the prophets to find that truth. My relationship with Heavenly Father has gotten stronger through my desire to find answers to questions, and Him helping me to find them in a variety of ways, whether through words in the scriptures or words of wise peers. This satisfies my curiosity and desire to learn, and helps me to grow as a disciple of Christ and as an example to my friends.

How I live my faith

I'm a firm believer that good knowledge is meant to be shared. I'm not a teacher, but I like to participate in discussions at Sunday meetings and help others learn, and to learn from them. I think it's amazing that I can always learn something new from the gospel every time I talk about it with another person, because they see with different eyes than I do, and that in turn expands my vision.
