Hi I'm Sarah Robison

I am serving as a Sister Missionary in the Washington, Kennewick Mission, speaking English and Spanish.

About Me

I was born into an LDS family and raised attending the church down the street from our home (this isn't uncommon for someone born in Utah). But, it took me nearly 18 years to receive a personal conviction about the religion of my family. "Line upon line, and precept upon precept" truly describes the way that I gained my testimony. Because I understand that process, I have grown to love LEARNING. I'm not perfect, but as long as I'm learning, and trying, and improving, things will work out. That is how I know what I know, and that is how I try to live my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I have read and studied the Book of Mormon. I have learned about the life of Joseph Smith. I have been an active member of the church for many years and participated in numberless programs and events. But the reason "I'm a Mormon" is becase I prayed to know if this church was God's true church on the earth, and I received an answer. I know that Christ restored the priesthood power of God to this earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. Because of that power I have made covenants with God, and I see the blessings that come from those covenants every day of my life.

How I live my faith

My faith motivates me to improve and change. God's purpose is for his children to inherit all He has and become like Him. When I try daily to become more like His son, Jesus Christ, I am living my faith. To me that means trying new things, developing good habits, and reaching out to people in need. More simply, it just means trying to be like Jesus.
