Hi I'm Tyler

I'm a son, a brother, a missionary, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Utah. And I am the second oldest of six kids. I am serving a full time mission for the LDS church in the California, San Bernardino Mission, and I am loving every second of it. I want to share the Gospel with everyone I meet. I love playing music. It doesn't matter whether it is on the guitar, ukulele, piano, harmonica, or a percussion instrument . . . I love it all. I also love to draw. I am planning on majoring in animation and eventually getting a job as an animator, or really any job that I can draw. I guess you could say I'm right brained.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know without a doubt that this church is true. I have had too many experiences where I have felt my Savior's love, or have been influenced by the Holy Ghost to deny that I know that it is true. I know that Jesus Christ is our Redeemer. He suffered more than anyone could possibly imagine in the Garden of Gethsemane so that we could repent and use His sacrifice for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ again. And He overcame death so that we can live again. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. I know that the priesthood has been restored on the earth. I know that we have a living prophet today. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. And I know this church is true. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday by reading my scriptures, praying to my Heavenly Father, participating in my ward's activities, serving others, and trying to make Jesus Christ the center of my life. All of those things are super important to me especially as I am serving as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It's easy to forget to do the basic daily things sometimes, like reading your scriptures and praying, but I know that those things can completely change my day and my entire life. I am also a very strong believer in serving others, just like Jesus Christ did. As an Eagle scout I have learned the importance of service and have seen the blessings that come from serving others.
