Hi I'm David Putt

Transition to a life of service

About Me

I just graduated earlier this year and am preparing to become a missionary for LDS church.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has helped me in the hardest times of my life. School was always hard for me and I got discouraged sometimes, but my family encouraged me to do the best I could and I did. My family wouldn't be so strong if it weren't for the standards of the gospel. I've developed a personal testimony of Jesus Christ and what he did for me. As I make missteps in my life, I know that with Christ's atonement I can learn from my mistakes and move on. It isn't always easy but I know he's got my back.

How I live my faith

I try hard to study scriptures daily, I attend youth activities at the local church building. I am an Eagle Scout, and enjoyed being a part of the Boy Scouts of America program. I'm happy to help neighbors move furniture, move in or out, and whatever else they need.

Are Mormons Christians?

David Putt
Yes, we absolutely are. The Book of Mormon is the keystone of our religion and it is another testament of Jesus Christ. As members we try to follow the example Christ set for us by serving others. We believe that he was the only perfect man to ever live and that he is the only one we can turn to if we want to be saved. It is only through his atoning sacrifice that we can have eternal life.
