Hi I'm Brennan

I'm a student. I'm a drummer. I like ice cream. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of eleven kids. My siblings like to say I'm the spoiled one, and they're kind of right. My family has been such a blessing to me. I served as a full-time missionary in the Philippines. I'm in college right now studying music. I'm a percussionist. I love drumming because rhythm is universal.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a mormon because I was born into a family of mormons. I continue to hold to mormonism because it fills me with hope. Mormonism is actually the gospel of Jesus Christ. It teaches us that there is purpose to life, that God loves all His children, and that he want's all of them to return to Him. Because of Christ's Atonement for the sins of the world, we can all be washed clean from sin. As we follow Christ's teachings and are cleansed from sin we can qualify for eternal life in the presence of God. These are some of the teachings in mormonism that fill me with hope.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by turning my thoughts and actions toward God. It's easy for me to get so caught up in my academic pursuits that I just forget about things of more importance like my relationship with God. Forming good habits like daily scripture study and fervent prayer has helped me keep my mind on spiritual things and has helped me to be more kind, less selfish, and just a better person. I also live my faith by talking about the gospel to those I encounter. I enjoy expressing to others how the gospel helps me to be happy. I share what I have learned from the gospel because I want them to experience the same happiness.
