Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in Sandy, Ut. currently serving a mission in the Washington Kennewick Mission, I love life, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 20 years old, and I love to golf, fish, play chess, and be outside! I am a huge soccer fan regardless of my lack of talent or ability. I am the middle of 5 children and I love to be with my family. I know that my Redeemer lives and I love to serve the Lord. I hope to someday marry in the Draper Temple, enter into the medical field, have a family, and live a happy, Christ-centered life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the doctrine is so true. I believe in a God who provides a prophet to his children in the latter days. I believe in a book containing a record of God's people in the Americas. I believe in an attitude of endurance and service and it means everything to me. I'm a Mormon because I have received a witness from the Holy Ghost concerning the teachings of my Prophet, my parents, and my God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others with every opportunity I can. I love to do Temple work, and community service. The most honest testament of one's faith is how he serves. I try my hardest to live all of the commandments and to fully rely on the teaching of Jesus Christ. I know that perfection is impossible in this life, but I truly believe in progression. As long as I try my best, I believe that I'll get there through the grace of our Lord.

What does Mormonism teach regarding baptism?

Taylor
The same way that Christ directed Nicodemus, we believe that all men must be "born again." Baptism is one of the greatest blessings that our Father in Heaven has allowed us to be apart of. As we choose for ourselves to be baptized by proper authority and by complete immersion, we enter into a covenant with God. We promise to follow Christ and take his name upon us and in return our loving God promises a remission of our sins. I am so grateful for the blessing of baptism. Show more Show less
