Hi I'm Brennan

I love to live, to run, to play golf and smile.

About Me

As a kid, I grew up in Kansas and moved to northern Utah when I was about 12. During high school, I was blessed with many opportunities and great family and friends. I ran varsity cross country, and distance track and field. I played the violin in the school musicals and taught myself to play the piano. I interned as a teacher at a local middle school and loved the kids there to death. I also served as senior class president last year and loved being able to serve and give back to the school and people who have given me so many blessings. The most important thing I have ever done however is become the best big brother I can to my three fantastic little sisters, and serve faithfully in the church. The gospel and my family have brought me more happiness than everything put together. Currently, I'm going to Utah State University, majoring in secondary education, working at a bakery/cafe and preparing to serve the Lord and his people as full-time missionary in the Bangkok Thailand mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church my entire life. I continue to be a member because nothing has brought me more joy and happiness than by being a member of his church. I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times on my own and every time I finish, I know that it is the word of God. It's gives me so much peace to know for certain that my father in heaven loves me and knows my name. I know that he has a purpose for me on this earth and that this church is the way to begin to discover that purpose. Talking about the gospel makes me excited! The plan of salvation and the gospel of Jesus Christ are exciting messages that just make so much sense to me. I have no doubt that through faith in Jesus Christ, repenting of our sins, baptism, receiving the gift of the holy ghost, and enduring to the end; we can find true happiness and the pressures of life seem less heavy.

How I live my faith

I love becoming involved with the church and really losing myself in the gospel. I've been in the church my whole life and have served in many callings, such as in leadership positions with the young men and playing the piano in meetings. Right now, I'm teaching a class of twelve year olds with a good friend of mine. Somehow those kids manage to teach me more than I teach them. I'm very far from perfect, but trying my best to live my faith every day has made me happier.
