Hi I'm Brynn

I'm a Philippines bound missionary. I love life. I'm a believer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brynn and I've been a member of the church my whole life. Ever since I was young I've wanted to serve a mission and knew some day I would. I recently got called to serve in the Philippines for 18 months. I have based a lot of things in my life around my decision to go on a mission, and I am thrilled at the opportunity I'll have to dedicate 18 months of my life to the work of my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ. Growing up I was a sports fanatic. Almost every hobby I have has to do with some kind of physical activity. Basketball was my passion however, and I had the amazing opportunity to play college basketball for two years. I went to a small town where instead of being the majority when it came to religion, I was tossed into a school where I all of a sudden was the minority. The two years of playing college basketball were some of the hardest and happiest times of my life. I went to this small town because of basketball, but basketball wasn't the reason I was supposed to go there. I had many missionary moments and my testimony and love for this gospel and Jesus Christ grew substantially. It was the best 2 years of my life thus far. If I could sum up myself in one sentence it would be, I love life, I love people, and I love God. Those three things drive me to be the person I know I can become. I can't wait to get to the Philippines and share my love for this gospel and Jesus Christ with the people. Life is good!

Why I am a Mormon

I love meeting with and talking to new people. It is always interesting to hear about people's lives and to see how the things they've experienced in life has shaped the person they are today. I try to share my love for life and express the many blessings I've been given. People often ask why I am so happy, and I tell them it is because of my knowledge of Jesus Christ. Life is meant to be happy, filled with people we love, laughter, and good memories. We are here to choose what kind of life we live, and I love my parents for teaching me to "choose to be happy" in this life. I love life because I know who I am. I know what my role is here in this life. I know where I'm going once I've done all that I can do to reach my potential. I am a child of God. And the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the reason I love life and why I live the way I do.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by living true to the standards I've been taught. A phrase I try to live by is "Preach the gospel at all times. When necessary use words." It is important to show people what you believe simply by how you live. The way I have chosen to live my faith is by deciding to serve a mission. I have chosen to dedicate 18 months of my life to go and invite others to the gospel of Jesus Christ. I am thrilled to be going to the Philippines to teach and serve the Filipino people. I am excited to invite others to come closer to their Savior Jesus Christ and help them increase their faith and love for him. I will do everything I can to help others obtain and learn about the characteristics of Christ and his gospel and also help others endure to the end so we can all return to the presence of our eternal Heavenly Father. I have such great joy and confidence in my knowlege of my Savior Jesus Christ. And I will show that I live my faith by serving a full time mission in the Philippines.
