Hi I'm Rebekah Anne

I am a writer and a singer. I want to become a doctor and work in third world countries. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read. I will read for hours on end and not realize how much time has flown by. I love to sing. I love to go on long journeys, whether they be bike rides, hikes, road trips, boat trips, or plane rides. I love learning new things, especially new languages. I love talking to people I meet on my travels. I always learn more about myself through their stories. I love learning about self defense and I dearly would like to learn archery. I've been going to college for two years now and I will soon serve a mission for the L.D.S. church in Frankfurt Germany! I love being with children. They are so genuine in everything they do. I recently volunteered for two and a half months in orphanages in Ecuador. I hope that one day I can marry in the temple of God for time and all eternity, and raise children of my own in the Truth of this gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I have felt the holy ghost confirm to my soul the truth of this gospel. I was raised in this church, but I would not have stayed if I did not know in my heart that this gospel is true. I have felt peace and assurance in time of trial. I have found strength in the Lord when there was none left in me. I will proclaim this Truth to the end of my days on earth, and find joy when I return to my Father Heaven, to my first and last home.

How I live my faith

I am so blessed to be able to live in Utah surrounded by the chapels and temples of the Lord. As a go to church each Sunday, I am filled with the spirit and my soul is renewed and strengthened by the many testimonies shared. I strive to live my faith in every action and word. However I am by no means perfect. I have many faults and I make mistakes every day. That is why I am so grateful for the Atonement of Christ, whereby I can become more than I am. I love being with my family. There is no greater joy than being surrounded by those who know and love you. I love helping others. My happiest memories come from serving my fellow man.
