Hi I'm Rick

I'm an electrical engineer working with data networks. I dabble in web design. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a happily married father of five. I work as a data network engineer. I also play around with developing websites. I'm a do-it-yourself type when it comes to many home and auto repairs. I like to garden. I enjoy many kinds of music, especially classical. I like the outdoors and try to exercise and be healthy. My favorite thing to do is spend time with my wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I consider myself lucky to have been born into a Mormon family. But I'm still a Mormon because I thoroughly believe the teachings taught in the church. The gospel of Jesus Christ is the driving and guiding influence in my life--it affects all of the decisions I make. I know that God lives and that in order to return to Him someday I need to learn His will and strive to do all I can to follow Him, and rely upon the grace afford me and all people through the atonement of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

While far from perfect, I realize the importance of trying to follow the commandments and teachings of Jesus Christ. I try to be honest in all that I do. I try to reach out and help other people. I give of my time and talents to serve in my church and community.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Rick
I absolutely believe in living prophets today. God is an unchanging God. He loves all of His children...including those who live on the earth today as well as those who have lived on the earth at other times in the past. Of course He would send prophets to help teach and guide the people today just as He did in the past. Show more Show less
