Hi I'm William Kay Blackwell

I have lived in Utah all my life, less two years spent in England as a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 40 years. Am the father of 6 children. Grandfather to 20 children. I retired as a self employed consultant. Live in a small town in southern Utah, closest neighbor is two miles from our house. We love the peace and quiet.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Church. The Church was always a part of my family's life. As a teenager I had my rebellious moments and somehow lived through them. I served a two year mission in England trying to share the gospel with others. The best convert I found was myself. It was in England that I came to know The Lord. To learn His goodness and loving kindness towards me. I feel He is involved in the details of my life. I know that He lives and know of His atoning sacrifice for us. I know The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is His true and living Church. I have great peace and comfort in this knowledge.

How I live my faith

Sunday has always been a day of worship. Sunday we attend church. Love the association with my neighbors and friends. In our church there is no paid ministry, we all help in various callings. I would say my favorite part of our Sunday meeting is the opportunity to partake of the Sacrament and remember the atoning sacrifice of the Savior.
