Hi I'm Joanna

I am a year away from a bachelor's degree in Psychology. I love hiking, skiing, and lacrosse. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am loving the current challenges of life. I am battling classes, grad school applications, research projects, part-time jobs, and being a good friend, daughter, sister, and above all aunt! I have eight beautiful and unique nieces and nephews I spend as much time with as I can get. I love having a big family and a dozen best friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church yet my conversion has been a process spanning my entire life and will undoubtedly continue. I live this gospel for the support it has created for me in good times and in hard times. I live this gospel because of how I feel when I read the Book of Mormon. I am a Mormon because it is the only way I can be happy and feel peace when life is hard, and I've known my share of hard times. I know God lives. I know Christ atoned for the sins of the world. I know this because I feel God guiding my life. When I decided to put my future in His hands, I felt overwhelming peace. I know that I am happiest when I follow Christ's example and strive daily to serve those around me. I love this gospel!

How I live my faith

The LDS church has guided and is now an integral part of my life. I love the opportunities we are given to serve those in our community and build our own faith in the process. I am currently preparing to serve a full-time mission to preach the gospel and hopefully share a portion of the pure joy this church is to me with others.
