Hi I'm Calista

I'm a lover of nature and a sign language interpreter. My true loves are being a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to rearrange my home. That hobby comes in handy with two children and one on the way, things are always changing. Along with being a wife and mother, I'm a part-time professional sign language interpreter.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up going to the local LDS church and felt comfort from the teachings that I learned in Sunday lessons and other activities. As I went off to college I realized that I needed to solidify my decision and truly dedicate my life to doing the Lord's will. I continued my prayers and study, sincerely asking for a confirmation of the truthfulness of the church. One morning I recieved the strongest feeling of truth I have ever felt. It was of warmth, comfort, and most importantly of peace. Since that day, I have been able to look back on that day and draw the same warmth, comfort, peace and love from the Savior that I felt.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my family and service. I am invovled in leading the young girls 12-18 at church. I am there on Sundays, Wednesdays and other events to encourage, teach and help them develop their own faith! I also am invovled in an interpreters planning committee for our upcoming conference.
