Hi I'm Annette

I'm a singer, an artist and a mother with a passion for natural and beautiful things and delicious food. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I studied art privately through elementary, middle and high school and taught beginning classes for 3 years. I studied Music Education in Southern Utah and currently use my degree as I lead the music in my ward's primary. I have a 2 1/2-year old son and have struggled with infertility as my husband and I have tried to conceive another child. I love creating delicious, healthy, beautiful foods and sharing them with friends and family. I practice Wing Chun Kung Fu, and love learning about other cultures. I am deeply interested in natural and alternative healthcare.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and grew up living the gospel. In some ways this has made conversion more difficult because the lines between religion and culture have always been blurred. I have chosen to live the Gospel of Christ because it brings me and my family great happiness. As I surrender my will to God and strive to live as He would have me live, my conversion to and love of the gospel deepen and my joy overflows!

How I live my faith

I am in charge of the music in Primary! I am blessed to teach the children about Christ through music, and help them to understand the power and beauty of this universal language. I also sing in my ward choir and serve as a visiting teacher. I like to trade babysitting with other sisters who live nearby so we can take turns attending the temple and going on dates with our husbands knowing that our children are safe and happy.
