Hi I'm Cori

I'm a volunteer in my community! A mom of 5. Married for 22 years to a man I remain crazy in love with & I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love meeting new people and making friends out of strangers! I have lived in several different states throughout the U.S. and have enjoyed the experiences each has offered me. I love trying new things and volunteering to make my community a better place. I have been a girl scout leader, a mentor for pregnant teen girls, involved within the schools with PTSA, Band Boosters, Choir Boosters, classroom & field trip volunteer among other things. I have found that it is through service that we find true joy. I also love making my house a home, photography, journaling, paper crafts, camping, bon fires, the beach and of course spending time with my family. My family fills my life with joy.

Why I am a Mormon

Even as a young child I had a longing to have a relationship with my Father in Heaven. When I became a teen, I attended several different churches yet, it wasn't until I entered The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, that I felt I had arrived at His church. The Spirit whispered to me that I was home. I was baptized at 18 years old and the gospel of Jesus Christ has been the biggest blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving as the President of our women's organization. How I love these women! It is such a joy to visit with them in their homes, hear their stories of their life triumphs as well as trials. Each has something to offer! I am also blessed to be a visiting teaching where I have the opportunity to develop a relationship with several women and visit with them each month.

What is the Relief Society?

Cori
The Relief Society is the Church's women organization which helps all women build faith and personal righteousness, strengthen homes and families and help those in need. It is amazing to surround ourselves with women from all walks of life, financial means, life experiences: all different yet we all share a love of our Heavenly Father and of His son, Jesus Christ. I love that we are given opportunities to learn from each other on topics such as raising our families, improving ourselves, marriage, principles of the gospel such as faith, service, repentance and love. My Relief Society sisters are among my dearest friends! Show more Show less
