Hi I'm Miranda Stewart

I was born and raised in Arizona my entire life. I love to dance and be in the sun. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love being on the dance floor and expressing myself. I have been dancing since the 4th grade and before that i was a gymnast that got to level 7. I enjoy going to Lake Powell with my family and staying on the houseboat. It's the family's favorite vacation! I attend BYU-I until I leave for my mission for 18 months.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up being mormon and I have always loved going to church ever since I was a little girl. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has helped me find who I truly am and what I stand for. It has taught me to be confident in my beliefs and be steadfast and immovable. I love this gospel and I don't know where I would be today if I didn't have it. I have made mistakes in my life just like everyone has and the gospel has helped me to know that I can repent and return to my Heavenly Father again. I know that this is the true gospel and that Joseph Smith, a prophet of God, restored it. I know with all my heart that the Book of Mormon is true. By reading it everyday it has helped me become a better person and learn more about the gospel. I know that missionary work changes lives, whether you are on a mission or introducing the gospel to a friend. I am grateful for the knowledge that I have of the Plan of Salvation. I know that if I keep the Lord's commandments I will be able to live with Him again. I know that there is a living prophet on this earth today, President Thomas S. Monson, and that he leads this church through Heavenly Father. I am grateful for the power of prayer and the connection that I can have with my Heavenly Father. I am also grateful for the atonement. I know that Jesus Christ died for my sins and because of that I can repent of them and be clean as I renew my baptismal convents when I take the sacrament.

How I live my faith

I attend singles ward and the people in my ward are amazing. They are very friendly and easy to talk to. The lessons are very well taught and explained so that everyone can understand. Every Tuesday we play volleyball for hours on end, which is probably my favorite part of the weekdays. I am also preparing to serve a mission. I got my call January of 2013 and am leaving in May to serve the Lord in the London South Visitor's Center mission! I couldn't be more excited!
