Hi I'm Quinn

I grew up in Spokane Washington and have lived here my whole life. I am an avid athlete. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Throughout high school I participated in football and track. I love participating in and watching sports. I enjoy being in the outdoors. Some of my favorite activities include downhill skiing, backpacking, camping, boating, and just being outside on a beautiful day. There isn't a day much more perfect than when the ski resorts get lots of new powder during the night and I am able to be up there to enjoy the snow first thing in the morning. I grew up on 10 acres with lots of animals. I have had horses my entire life and love all of God's creatures, maybe except mosquitoes and spiders. I plan on attending school to go into the medical field or potentially accounting if medicine doesn't work out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me joy I know can't be found anywhere else in the world. The Church is so focused on the importance of family and bringing them closer together. My family means the world to me and they are my best friends. Also, the way the Church is organized is a testament to me of its truthfulness. The same keys and ordinances that were performed and held in Old and New Testament times have been restored and are practiced in the LDS Church today. The Spirit has testified to me on many occasions of the truthfulness of this Gospel. I know that Jesus Christ came to this Earth and died for each of us that we may someday be able to return to live with our Father in Heaven. The pain he endured for each one of us shows his infinite love for each of us, and for an individual to suffer so much, even to bleed from every pour, shows that he only wants the best for each of us. Through repentance we can be forgiven of our past sins and be made clean. Our Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ want nothing more than for each of us to live them once again in Heaven. I know that the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ has been restored upon the Earth in these last days through the Prophet Joseph Smith. I know that we have a living prophet on the Earth today, even Thomas S. Monson. I know he speaks with our Heavenly Father to receive guidance for each of us. I know that through personal prayer we can each talk to our Father in Heaven and receive personal guidance and real answers from him. This truly is a Gospel of joy and I have found the greatest happiness in my life when I am following God's commandments and following the principles of this Gospel as closely as I can.

How I live my faith

I have always been very involved in service and serving others. I have had many opportunities with my young men's youth group since the age of 12. I was an Eagle Scout, and in order to achieve this rank I have had to put lots of time into serving the community. I personally find that there is nothing greater you can do than to serve those around you. I will be a missionary representing the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for the next two years. Each day I will be serving others in any way I can and bringing others closer to their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
