Hi I'm Mary

I grew up in England, and I love to travel, read, and play sports. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest sibling of four, and my closest sister is ten years younger than I am. I grew up in England as an only child, so my childhood was spent touring Europe on the weekends in our little red mini with my mum and dad. Once I moved to America for high school in Washington State, I joined all the sports teams I could, and I loved it. I moved to Provo for school at Brigham Young University and I choose nursing as my major and French language as my minor. I am now serving a mission for the church in New Caledonia, French speaking. I am so excited to serve the Lord and love the people.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born into the church, I have a choice. On multiple occasions, I have received personal revelation through the Holy Ghost that the gospel is true. I know that it is true, and I trust in it. I might not have specific reasonings that are tangible, but their validity in my heart is more than enough.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for the Lord. We truly have to strive to have the character of Christ in all that we do, and I am striving to bring people unto the Lord so that they can accept the true gospel. I love it and I am so excited to go and be a part of it.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

My simple answer is pray. Study, and pray. If you ask in the right manner, with humility and thankfulness, the Lord will answer your prayers. Always. Show more Show less
