Hi I'm Alexander

I love life. I'm a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently serving a mission in Kyiv, Ukraine. It's awesome. I love the country, the Ukrainian people, the language, the culture, and everything else. Before the mission, I studied for a year and a half of college, and plan on returning there after the mission. I love sports, all kinds. But especially football. And basketball. And lacrosse. And most of all, I love God and His church on the earth!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of this church my whole life. Both my parents are lifelong members. Their examples of faith and righteousness have guided me to this point in my life and have helped me to understand the blessings of living the gospel. But ultimately it comes down to my personal testimony of the gospel. I prayed about the truthfulness of the gospel, of Joseph Smith, of the Book of Mormon, of Jesus Christ. I know through the power of the Holy Ghost that these things are true. I love that. That's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live it every day! From studying scriptures in the morning to finding opportunites for service throughout the day, everything I do is influenced by my faith. Right now, I am serving a mission. Why? Because I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and the happiness and joy and comfort it brings to my life. Simple. And I just want to share that with everyone around. Following the Savior's admonition to "preach [His] gospel."
