Hi I'm Rachel

I love traveling and seeing new places. I love getting to know people. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family has moved a few times (most recently to Dubai) and we've been blessed to travel. We've visited over 40 cities around Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I love the beauty of this world and being outdoors. The foundation of my life is Jesus Christ and His gospel. When we are experiencing difficulty, or faced with decisions that are beyond us, or overwhelmed, we can turn to our Savior, the Master Healer, who comforts and strengthens us. He is the light and the life of the world. As I come to know Jesus Christ by studying his words in the Book of Mormon, my heart is softened and purified. I feel the deep desire to love and serve others as he did, and be more like him. I feel strengthened by him. I feel his love and personal care for my life as I read his words, and I feel answers from his spirit in my heart that help me deal with challenges in my life. I recently got married to my sweet husband, McKay. We go to school in Provo, UT. Living the gospel of Jesus Christ, reading his words from the Book of Mormon, and praying together daily strengthens our relationship.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I've asked God for myself if this church is true, and he confirmed it in my mind and heart through his spirit. I receive even more confirmations that it is true as I live it because it blesses my life and brings me joy.

How I live my faith

When Jesus Christ lived on the earth, He served and loved others. He set the perfect example for us. I live my faith by trying to follow His example and serving others. I know that we are truly happy when we look outward and help those around us, and love them as Christ loves them. I also live my faith by being happy! The gospel message is one of joy - God lives! He is our Heavenly Father and He loves us so much. He has a plan for each of us. His truth has been restored in its fullness today for us.
