Hi I'm Mallory

Born & raised in fabulous Las Vegas, NV. I'm a runner, a writer, & an aspiring physical therapist. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophomore in college, studying exercise science and I love the many opportunities college has given me to learn in all areas. Although I enjoy my chemistry classes (really, I do.) I'm also learning to throw pottery in a contemporary ceramics class! College has also allowed me to meet and help other people: I'm a writing tutor and a director of a service organization that works with at-risk young men. When I'm not busy doing stuff for school you can usually find me in the outdoors-running, biking, hiking or cross-country skiing. Come January, I will be taking a year and a half off of school to serve as a full-time missionary in the Chile Osorno Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

On the surface, I'm a Mormon because I was born one. But I'm a Mormon now because I've gained my own testimony of Jesus Christ. I truly believe that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the mormon church :D) teaches the fullness of Jesus Christ's teachings. And I believe that it is only through Christ's teachings that I can reach my potential in this life and in the next.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing the little things consistently. I pray every morning and night. I read the scriptures every day. I attend church every Sunday. I look for opportunities to serve others. I attend the temple almost every week. I have a strong belief that living one's faith must be a combination of both thought and action. I seek to learn and understand the teachings of my faith, and then look for ways to apply them in my everyday life.
