Hi I'm Cade

I grew up in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I enjoyed Track and Field in high school. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was born in Rexburg Idaho to good parents who are also members of the church. I am the oldest of 3 other siblings. 1 brother and 2 sisters. I grew up in Idaho Falls, and when I was in about 4th grade I moved to Missoula Montana. I lived there for about 7 years and came back to Idaho Falls, and finished my last two years of high school at Bonneville High School. I have done Track and Field since the 6th grade, and have loved the hard work and involvement I have learned from it. I have always enjoyed the company of good friends, and love to do outdoor things and to really just enjoy people's company. I am leaving in about 1 week to serve a mission in the Mexico, Culiacan Mission, and I so look forward to serving the lord during that time.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the church since I was baptized when I was 8 and have always gone to church and tried to live the gospel's teachings. Some might say that it would be easy for me having been born with everything, and that I didn't have to work for any of the privileges of the gospel that I do have. Living in Montana for 7 years was a bit of a challenge for me as far as living the faith, because of early morning seminary before school, and because of the low population of other mormons in my area. It was, at times, hard to feel like i fit in with other kids, but I knew that the gospel of Jesus Christ was the way to true happiness and that I only need to fit in to God's plan to be happy. Completing my last two years of high school was a huge blessing to me, because i was surrounded by others of my same faith, and they uplifted me and helped me be a better person. Through these different phases in my life is how I have come to gain my OWN testimony of Jesus Christ. This is how I know, that even though much was given to me, much was still required and I have tried my best to gain a testimony of my own and I do bear testimony that I know this church is true and that I have read the book of mormon and I know it is true also, and that through following God's commandments and through trying to live the gospel, one can experience true happiness throughout their own life, even through times of sorrow and trial. He is always there, and he is always listening.

How I live my faith

I have been in a few quorum callings throughout my teenage years, and have enjoyed going to mutual and feeling the camaraderie there of friends of my faith. I have always striven to pray and read scriptures in conjunction with each other, because they help strengthen you for your day, and they strengthen your testimony overall. I attend church regularly and try to do my best to help others in need and to keep the Lord's commandments so that I will experience full and true happiness in doing so.
