Hi I'm Ilaisaane Tukuafu

I am Tongan, from Arizona, and currently serving in the Wellington, New Zealand Mission.

About Me

I am a Tongan American girl, born in the hot desert state of Arizona. I am the oldest of 2 and also have 2 dogs. I've lived in Arizona all my life, grew up in the gospel, and was taught by goodly parents. I love to dance, work, eat New Zealand Ice Cream, laugh, have fun, and spend time with my family and friends. I am currently serving my mission in New Zealand and I love every second of it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born, raised, and grew up a Mormon. I was taught the gospel all my life and i wouldn't give it up for the world! The gospel is what has helped me in many difficult situations, even when i was close to giving up on anything. I love to share it in any given opportunity and would never deny it. I am so blessed with parents who both converted at a young age, who are both still active in the church up to today, and has taught my siblings and I this religion, because without it, i wouldn't be the person i am today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example to those around me, showing love and serve others in any way that i can, hold on to my callings, participate in church activites, attend church meetings, and live gospel standards. My example by deciding to serve a mission has really affected many young women to want and go serve as well. To help them prepare themselves to become future wives and mothers, to handle life, and to teach their future children.
