Hi I'm Kerrianne

I am a full-time missionary serving in the England Leeds Mission. I love to laugh, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mexican food lover. I enjoy hiking, camping, and the great outdoors. I love live music, and dancing. I am of Irish-Italian descent, and I come from a pretty big family, which is full of love, and laughter.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints when I was 17. I was born and raised a Catholic, but from the first time I met the missionaries as a young girl, I felt a warmth and love for them. I saw their love for my family. They taught me, and my family on and off for the following years, and at 17, I made the decision to join the Church. I saw the faith that these young men and women had and it led me to desire it for myself. I came to recognise that the warmth I felt was God letting me know the Church was true. Each time I was taught a principle of the gospel, I felt God telling me that it was true. I couldn't deny the truthfulness of what I was hearing, what my Heavenly Father was telling me. I came to know Jesus Christ better. That He was, and is my brother. That He suffered, died, and was resurrected, so that each of us could live. I came to know that He lives, just as Heavenly Father does. As I exercised faith and followed Heavenly Father's commandments, I was baptised. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. As such, my family were also baptised over the following years. It brings such joy and happiness to me to know that my family know of God too. To know that He loves each of us, and has a beautiful plan for everyone of us. It brings me strength through any trials. It has brought my family strength. I know Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live and the gospel was restored and brought back to the earth through the Prophet, Joseph Smith. I know there is a prophet on the earth today, and that this is Jesus Christ's church on the earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that my Heavenly Father loves all of His children. I can say these things, not through arrogance, but because my Heavenly Father has told me, through prayer, that these things are true. The gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me to know my purpose on this earth. It has brought me a happiness I have never known. It is true, and I love it.

How I live my faith

I have found that service is the greatest way to come closer to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. It is something which I should do more often, but it truly allows us to feel the pure love of Christ. I have found that learning about Christ, praying to have a deeper understanding, and being willing to change are all necessary to come closer to our Heavenly Father. Being a member of the Church is about growth, learning from mistakes, and knowing that through Christ, we can do all things.
