Hi I'm Andre Arseneault

I grew up in Montreal, Quebec, Canada and am of Acadian descent. I'm a father of three and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Graduating with my Master of Architecture at the University of Waterloo and finding my way through the process of becoming an architect has shaped most of who I am. I enjoy spending time with my family of seven(inluding my crazy australian shepard and funny black cat). Walking on nature walks are always enjoyable and I find that this time allows me to draw closer to my God. I'm also a fan of the latest architectural technology that can help my abilities as an architect. Particularly interested in exploring virtual space and have fun designing and imagining new things. A big part of who I am, comes from my family and loving the activities that we get to do together. Always love to travel and if I could get to spend more time with my family exploring the world then I think I would definitely be as near as what I can imagine heaven to be like.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a year old, my parents decided to join the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Growing up I wondered about the church teachings and decided as a teenager that I wanted to know for sure what was truth or not. I found a close relationship with God through this process and chose to serve as a missionary for the church at the age of 19 years old. This experience strengthened my commitment and I am forever grateful for the experiences and relationships gained through my membership with the church. Meeting my wife and being married in the Toronto Temple has been a wonderful start to a relationship for the eternities. My wife and I are happy to pass on the teachings and beliefs that have brought us such great joy. We hope for our children that they will be able to experience the great joys that we have been privileged to experience through the practice of our religion.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day and focus on raising my children in a way that I feel best reflects what God would have them do. I work hard at doing what I can to uplift and strengthen others and enjoy teaching the youth of my church the principles of faith that I have learnt.
