Hi I'm Amy

I grew up in Utah. I am attending grad school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to be outside! I like to hike, bike, and camp! If I have time I love to sew and quilt! I am married to the best guy ever! We don't have a lot of spare time this year because we are both in grad school. We love to cook together (when we can find the time) and play games!

Why I am a Mormon

I have always felt a closeness to God and have always wanted to do what He wanted me to do. But, when I was a teenager I stopped going to church, but that didn't mean I was a bad person, although I would say those years were filled with sadness and apathy. I decided to start going to church again when I was in college. It felt as if a dark cloud that had been following me for years finally started to lift. Learning about the Gospel and reading the scriptures cleared my head and gave me a sense of purpose in my life. I have learned that God loves and knows each one of us. He sent his Son to earth to show us the way in which we should live. Christ gave up his life for me so that I could be forgiven and live again. Christ's church has been restored to the earth today through the prophet Joseph Smith. Because of this I can be baptized with the priesthood authority and be with my family forever. I attribute everything I am and aspire to be to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by example. I know I'm not perfect but I strive to be a better person everyday. Some days are better than others, but I never give up! I love to serve others and think that by serving others you are able to lift others and yourself at the same time. When I serve somebody my love for them grows and I become more Christ-like.
