Hi I'm Yury

I was born in Honduras. I love to smile. I'm the only member in my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Honduras, then immigrated to the U.S. with my parents. I have one younger brother. I have a wonderful mother. I love to be outside. I love to smile. I love to say hello to people. I'm impulsive and imperfect. I was baptized at age 15. I'm currently a student at BYU-Hawaii studying Psychology.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I desire long, lasting happiness that can only be produced through the truth. I love this gospel, its teachings, and the opportunities that it provides to serve others. I feel an immense feeling of joy incomparable to any other temporary joy. I have been able to come to understand and feel my Father in Heaven's love for me so much more clearly through this gospel. I love the teachings of Jesus Christ and I know it is true. The joy I feel is so true that I wish I could physically take it in my hands and give it to someone else so they can feel loved. With this newly discovered assurance that I am infinitely loved, I have never felt alone. I have a feeling of assurance through His love that everything will be OK. I love Jesus Christ and am grateful for his sacrifice. I know God loves me and his children. I know He only desires the best for us. I know the best can only be found in His work through the true gospel which can only be found fully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being sincere. I attend my ward every Sunday. I do my visiting teaching almost monthly in which I provide other sisters with visits and service.
