Hi I'm Ben

I am from California. I love sports, cooking, and philosophy. I am a husband and father. I am a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating from college, I moved to the Sacramento California area. I have a wife and baby boy. I work in the marketing industry. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and playing sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon initially because I was born to faithful Mormon parents who always set a good example for me, taught me the gospel of Jesus Christ, and dedicated their lives to service. Despite my family ties to the Mormon church, the choice to be a Mormon is my own. For much of my childhood I believed in the teachings of the Savior Jesus Christ because of the testimony of my parents, but there came a point in my life when that was no longer sufficient. As I worked to gain my own testimony of the gospel that I had been taught since childhood, my prayers were answered and I received a witness to the truthfulness of the gospel in a way that was personal and sacred to me. Since the time of that initial answer to my prayers, I that witness has been confirmed to me many times. I have Received answers to prayers, I have received guidance through the holy spirit, and I have been a witness to miracles in my own life and in the lives of my family and friends. I am a Mormon because I know that God lives. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is the son of God. And I am a Mormon because I know that God still speaks to man. I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the modern day continuation of the church that was established by the Savior when he lived on the earth.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith everyday by going out and providing for my family. My faith leads me to hope for a better tomorrow, and to trust that the lord will provide for my family. I live my faith by trying to provide service both inside and outside of my church. Most importantly I live my faith by trying to understand the lords purpose for me, and striving to follow his will.
