Hi I'm Anthony Quentin Vaughan

Hi my name is Anthony Vaughan, I am father, artist, computer specialist. Native American and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a retired Computer Security Specialist from the U.S. Government. I worked for Department of Defense, Naval Network and Space Operations Command. I am a artist, Native American Educator, musician, and love Astronomy. I just finished serving as a Church Service Missionary for the Publication Services remotely from my home to Riverton Utah ICS Office Buliding. I believe that we can find out a lot above ourselves by looking into the heavens and gazing at Heavenly Fathers creations in the sky and heavens. I have three wonderful sons, a wonderful daughter, and a beautiful wife.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I believe the Book of Mormon is true. Joseph Smith was a prophet. Our modern day prophet is a prophet for today. I believe the scriptures are true and can lead you to everlasting life and happiness. I found the by becoming a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I believe the key to living our faith is to live a "Christlike" life. Our Savior has provided the path for us by reading the Book of Mormon, the Holy Bible, and the books that are associated with the Book of Mormon. The key also include unconditional love which Jesus showed to everyone he came to in his path. There are some who feel how can you do this in these modern times? You can by living the structure that was created for us by Heavenly Father in the scriptures. The information is timeless...

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Anthony Quentin Vaughan
Mormons help everyone that has the need for spiritual, emotional, and physical strength. Jesus lead the way to help all Heavenly Father's children. Charity and service is a very important and essential part of our faith to everyone in need no matter what economic, spiritual, or cultural background. Show more Show less

What are Mormon Temples used for?

Anthony Quentin Vaughan
Yesterday I had a chance to visit the Palmyra Temple and do endowments with my mother-in law who I love very dearly. We both needed to come home again because of some of life's issues that were burdening us. We found comfort and joy as soon as we opened the door. The spirit was truly there in Our Fathers Home and we were enlightened spiritually and emotionally. I love the Temple and I think that every church member should strive to go at least once a month to either do the work to be done or to talk to Heavenly Father and Our Savior in times of trouble and dispair. I testify to you that Temples are for the mind, body and soul. They are also places that we should never take for granted. They are there for us and everyone we do the work for. I say this in the Holy name of Jesus Christ, Amen Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Anthony Quentin Vaughan
I served as a Church Service Missionary. I worked from home on my computer as a Operations Specialist spreading the Gospel and my testimony to all that want to learn and investigate the Church. We serve the Church through wanting to serve voluntarily, and thorough personal revelation or prompting. Some us serve full-time missions in the field and some of us serve as Church Service Missionaries who may not be able to serve a full-time mission but, still want to serve the Church in various capacities.Service to the Church for us is serving Heavenly Father and Our Savior. We are a missionary church and believe that every member is a "missionary" in the service of the Lord. Show more Show less
