Hi I'm Ali Tippetts

I grew up in Orem, Utah. I want to become a doctor and help save lives. I belong to the church of Jesus Christ.

About Me

I love all sports, but especially gymnastics and diving. I'm attending a university and I'm majoring in Exercise Science. I want to go to medical or physician assistant school to become a surgeon and so I can work in the emergency room. I love cooking, horse riding, wakeboarding, snowboarding, longboarding, playing catch, playing the guitar and much more.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. I was blessed to grow up in a Mormon family and I was raised with good parents, a brother and a sister. I am grateful for the comfort that the gospel brings to my life. I love the guidelines that we are asked to follow, such as the word of wisdom and the law of chastity. I feel these rules given to us will help us be healthier, practice our obedience, and help us live righteous lives. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel to this earth in these latter days. I know that Jesus died for us and I know that God has blessed me and will continue to bless me if I keep the commandments and try to live a worthy life. I take comfort in the Atonement and that we know we are humans and the natural man. We will make mistakes and we can come unto the Lord, with a sincere heart and faith that we can be forgiven of our sins. I know what my purpose in life is because of this gospel. I know my worth in the sight of God and I know that God loves every single one of us on earth. We are His children and He watches over us. I know that one day I can gain eternal life and make it home to the Celestial Kingdom to live with my Father in Heaven. I know the Book of Mormon to be the true word of God. I can testify that it helps me in my every day life and can be a great guidance for anyone. I have a strong testimony of prayer. I'm grateful for the opportunity we have to take a moment every morning, night, and before meals and activities to communicate with our Heavenly Father and allow Him to know how grateful we are for our blessings. I also love the union and friendship that we can share as a member of a ward. I love helping those close to me and I'm comforted by the fact that if anything were to happen to me or my family, we have caring ward members that would help us out.

How I live my faith

I go visiting teaching once a month and try to welcome brothers and sisters into the ward. I enjoy getting to know new people and sharing my thoughts about the gospel to others. I enjoy and appreciate others who teach me new things and how we can grow and progress in our lives.
