Hi I'm Malea

I love cooking, being outdoors, going on adventures and being with my family. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up with bilingual parents-mother is from Spain, and father served a Spanish speaking mission in Central America. Because of this, the first language I learned was Spanish. Growing up until early grade school, Spanish is all we spoke in my home. I have three brothers and that taught me to be tough and work hard. Having grown up in small town I learned to be creative and have fun outside. Nothing makes me happier than being with my family. There's nothing I want more in life than to be a wife and a mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. This gospel has brought me so much peace and comfort. Everything I do in my life is some reflection of this church. I am a Mormon because it makes me a better person and it gives me the guidance I need to help others be good.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by everything I do. Since I live in a predominantly LDS college town, I have found that living my faith is even more important. Each morning I wake up and say a prayer. Throughout the day I am constantly saying prayers in my heart to help me through the day. I also live my faith through going to church every week. This is a reminder for me of the promises I have made to myself and my Savior. At church and service opportunities is where my testimony gets strengthened. One of my favorite ways to life my faith is by doing the small and simple things we've been asked to do-daily prayers, scripture study, service, and visiting teaching.
