Hi I'm James

I currently reside in Iowa but have also lived in KS, PA, IL, CA, UT, AZ, and Brazil. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived throughout the United States and enjoy the opportunity to travel internationally. My current job is working for John Deere & Co. I enjoy working with 'down to earth' people. My wife and children are the most important things to me and I cherish coming home after a long day and spending a few minutes with my family all striving to be the first to give me a hug, talk, kiss, etc.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have never felt so much at peace as when I am striving to follow the teachings of the church. While I was born into this faith and have remained an active member my whole life, there are times when I have found myself questioning why I should go to church or spend so much time reading the scriptures and praying. As I have become lax in some of these areas I have always found a correlation to more difficult and stressful times in conjunction with a more lax religious life.

How I live my faith

I try and live my faith in how I interact with others both when others notice and when no one is around. I have a strong believe that integrity places a vital role in shaping our lives and, what we do when no one else is around is even more important than what we do when others are watching. I current calling within the Mormon church is helping young men and young women gain a testimony of our Savior and remain true to themselves and the beliefs of the church. I enjoy watching young men and women as they step up to the challenges that can occur on a daily life with some very difficult choices to make. I always thought that I had it pretty tough growing up but today's youth have it so much harder than I did. I look up to today's youth that decide to often go against the mainstream media and follow a more Christ-like life.
