Hi I'm Leslee

I love to dance. I love to eat sushi with my best friend and I love life. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to have a good time with my friends and I absolutely love my family!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that already had strong testimonies of Jesus Christ and knew The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was the true church on the earth today. When I was young I leaned on this testimony but as I have gotten older and have learned and formed my own opinions I have gained my own testimony of the truthfulness of Christ's Church. I know that God wants his children to be happy and he wants us to return to him so he has set up a path for his children to do this. God doesn't want us to have to walk this path alone, he knows that we would get lost. So he has appointed prophets and apostles to lead, guide and direct us like he did in Jesus's day. I am a Mormon because I know that I can trust these divine appointed leaders and I know that their words are the word of God. Their direction will help me to be worthy to live with Heavenly Father again someday, accompanied by my friends and family and it will bring me the greatest joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to others. People are always watching what you do and as a member of the church I feel that I have a special responsibility to let others know what Mormons believe! I don't always do the right thing but I do try and that is what matters! I am also living my faith by serving a mission in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from May 2013 to November 2014.

What is being a Mormon like?

Leslee
Being a Mormon is the best! Many peple think that members of the Mormon faith have too many rules and they don't get to have any fun but it is quite the opposite! Especially as a youth in the LDS church I have often felt pressured to do immoral things with friends that don't have the same standards as I do. However when I choose to participate in wholesome activities I always feel happy and like God is proud of me. I also know that not participating in things that are against the church standards will lead me closer to my Heavenly Father and to my eternal goal which is to live with Heavenly Father.
