Hi I'm Gideon

I grew up in Kettle Falls, Washington. I live on a farm with my family and work at a cedar mill. I"m a Morman.

About Me

I love to work on my parents farm. Working with cattle and driving tractors is something that I plan to do when I get out of college. Unfortunately, I can't just farm. There's no money in it. So that's why I am going to college. But I will not go to college for a while because I will be serving a mission for my church for two years. I will be changing peoples lives for the better and I will be serving my Father in Heaven.

Why I am a Mormon

At first, I only went to church because that is what my parents taught me to do. They said that it was good for me to do these kinds of things. But as I got older, I realized that this was something important. The more I learned about my religion, the more I grew closer to my Savior. It is hard to explain the feeling that I have when I am striving to do as the Lord wants me to, but it is what I call, "true happiness." This is the reason why I am serving a mission, to draw closer to the Lord and so others can feel this "happiness." I know that the Savior lives and he wants all his people to be with him again, and I say these things, in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live in a really small branch. So we plan and do a lot of service. I have chopped a lot of wood when I was in the young mens program. But now, I am the branch mission leader assistent and I am the first counselor in our Elders quorum. It is a lot of work preparing lessons and planning our branch activities. And on top of that, I play the piano, organ, and I sing in chores for both our branch and stake meetings.
