Hi I'm Tyman

I love baseball, I try to golf, I'm a business major and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Utah and am currently serving a mission in Phoenix, Arizona. I love sports, and I love life. I could talk about BYU football and the New York Yankees all day. I am the oldest of 4 kids in my family, and am fortunate enough to have been blessed with the best family ever. I am excited for what the future holds, and will work hard to be successful. I am discovering myself as I preach, teach, and live the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a Mormon because it makes me happy. To know that Christ has atoned for each and every one of our sins brings me peace. The comforting outline of the Plan of Salvation rings true to my heart. Living the Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me reach new heights in every aspect of my life. Faith, repentance, baptism, gift of the holy ghost, endure to the end. As a missionary, this is what I teach, and what I strive to live. "Men are that they might have joy."- This brings me joy, so this is what I do!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being obedient to the commandments given to us for our benefit by our Heavenly Father. These include abiding by the precepts of the Book of Mormon, and the guidance and counsel that we receive from apostles and prophets. I live my faith by practicing what I preach, and setting an example for my faith. I am far from perfect, and that is why this gospel is for me. Our gospel is centered around the Atonement of Jesus Christ- which makes it possible to return to live with Him, despite our short comings and mistakes.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Tyman
We are saved by grace, after ALL we can do. Our choices and actions while on this earth will determine our eternal circumstances. Our life on earth is a prepratory state, or a time to prepare to meet God. We will be judged by the choices we make in our life. Christ is merciful and his grace will bring us happiness after we do our part and live the best lives that we can. Show more Show less
