Hi I'm Courtney

I go to school, spend time with friends and family, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three older sisters, two brother in laws, two nephews, one niece, and two very loving parents, all of whom I am so grateful and proud to call my family. I am currently studying History education and hope to go back East to teach once I have graduated. Some of my hobbies are playing the violin, reading, and going on vacation to Disneyland with my family! I have amazing friends and I live in a great community. I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my entire life, and am so grateful for the blessing it is in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why am I a Mormon? Because the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is what makes me happy. Without it I don't know where I'd be or where I am going. Life would be a puzzle that, no matter how hard I tried, I could not figure out by myself. But with this gospel, and especially my Savior Jesus Christ, I know that I can piece together my own puzzle if I only have faith in my Father in Heaven and Savior. I know they love me more than I can possibly comprehend and that they are striving to help me so that I can return to live with them again. This gospel brings about an inexpressible peace in times of turmoil and chaos, and that is something I will always be grateful for.

How I live my faith

Although I am not perfect at it, I live my faith by trying to be an example to others and serving them. It's easy to get caught up in your own life, with everything you have to do, but at least once a day I try to step outside of my own little bubble and serve those around me. I try to be an example to others by going to my church meetings, serve diligently in my callings, and live the doctrine that has been taught and practiced by the Lord Jesus Christ.
