Hi I'm Christian

I grew up in SC, now married with 3 kids. I work hard and play hard. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm in my early thirties, have pretty much the best wife in the world, and three VERY busy kids. I used to sell real estate, now work on the internet and I'm learning to tune pianos. I also enjoy working closely with law enforcement. I have an interest in learning to fly, but only got halfway to my pilot's license before it got too expensive. SCUBA diving is also very fun to me. I love playing baseball and soccer with my boy and watching the girls dress each other up in ridiculous outfits.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because deep down in my soul I know that it is right. I believe that any person who takes time to seriously study the scriptures and the teachings of the church will come to the same conclusion. I had to learn just how much God cares about me. I never understood it until I had kids and realized how much I love them...completely unconditionally. Thinking about how God must love me at least that much is very humbling to me. The church's teachings bring peace to my life, even during difficult times. It enriches the quality of our family's life. Being a member of the church is incredibly important to me because it allows my family to be "sealed" together forever. I do not believe that the feelings of love that I have for my wife and kids will just end at death. I take great comfort in knowing that my wife and I will be married for "time and all eternity." No matter what happens, as long as we keep the commandments, we will be together and our kids will be part of our family.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for the church choir and sometimes the children's Sunday school. I am also actively involved with teaching about the church in the community. This includes meeting and getting to know the visitors to church and the new members. I served a two year mission for the church in the Baltic countries of Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, and enjoyed almost every minute of it. I am also currently assigned as a home-teacher, meaning that my companion and I visit 4 families in the church each month to make sure that all is well with them and leave an uplifting message with them.
