Hi I'm Jarom

I've travelled to 11 countries and I have a goal to double that in the next 5 years. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated high school and aspired to be a great artist. I went to Ricks College and found their program to be exhausting. I took off on a mission to Bilbao, Spain in 2000 and returned in 2002 with a new goal to be a business man. I attended LDSBC for a year but before delving into my studies I felt strongly that a beautiful companion would make me a happy and focused student. I married Holly in 2003 and transferred to BYU Provo and graduated in Spanish and Business management in 2007. I have since worked in Operations Management and I hope to start my own business from one of the dozens of ideas swimming around in my head.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I choose to be. My life has been shaken and my faith has been tried. I continue to be thankful that there is a prophet on the earth today that speaks with God and leads us to truth in these challenging latter days. Our Heavenly Father has provided His restored church for our refuge and He continues to speak to the prophets to offer us strength. I choose to follow the prophet.

How I live my faith

I find that going to church once a week is strengthening but as I have matured in the gospel and i have really taken time out of my life to serve the church, Heavenly Father has blessed me more than I can comprehend. This church is about service. The more I understand this principle and apply it to my life, the more peace I feel in my home and wherever I go. I currently serve as a Ward Missionary and I love it! I feel privileged to sit in on discussions with less-active members and investigators. I love interacting with the ward missionaries and teaching in the Gospel Principles on Sunday. Our ward has a strong Ward Mission that should be implemented church-wide. :) Pray for missionary opportunities, share information about our faith to friends, strangers (anyone), and invite others to read the Book of Mormon, come to church meetings or activities, etc. This church is the true church of God and we shouldn't be keeping it a secret. I am thankful that I was born into the LDS faith and that I was brought up in a home that was governed by the Lord's truths. I was always taught to love my neighbor, to be respectful, to be of service to those that are less fortunate and to serve The Lord and His church.
