Hi I'm Timothy

I've grown up having 6 siblings. I'm a sports fanatic. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of seven children, and we are all athletes. Being the oldest i tried most sports out first, but i found my choice two in soccer and baseball. On the baseball diamond I was the switch hitting second baseman and the diving left fielder. Baseball couldn't contain my energy, though with soccer i could run till i dropped. I was a defensive minded midfielder who helped out the offense when needed, but got back to stop any opponent that crossed my path. I found as I grew in sports they helped me overcome challenges that I faced growing up. Sprots were a way for me to find things that I was good at which helped my self esteem imensly. It was also through sports that I was able to build friendships that continue still.

Why I am a Mormon

My father was taught and accepted the gospel of Jesus Christ in his early adult years. He told me when i was seven years old that I needed to find out for my self if the church was true. After hearing this i read The Book of Mormon to know what it entailed, and i asked my Father in Heaven in prayer, if this was the true gospel. I received an answer to that prayer where i could not deny the truth or divinity of it. To this day that answer has not changed. I know that i wouldn't be the person i am today if it weren't for that answer to my prayer.

How I live my faith

As part of my faith I believe that having fun is one of the most important things for us in this life. Joy is one of the greatest gifts that God has given us and I think we experience trrue joy whenever His Spirit is with us. One of my life mottos is "Have fun with th Spirit" which helps me a ton. I love to have fun and when the Spirit of God is with us when we have fun than it makes it so much better! We have to be worthy to have that Spirit with us though, and we can be worthy by doing the things God has commanded us. He has asked that we study His word daily in the scriptures and to talk with Him through prayer. These are the things that get me through the day. There is so much solace that has come to me through each of these and they truly prepare me to have fun throughout each day. The Spirit of God helps me have fun wether I'm at work, at church, babysitting, with my friends, or running around on some athletic field.
