Hi I'm Aread

I'm a photographer. I love cookies. I love dancing while vacuuming. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from a family of five children. I'm the oldest. My parents are great. They may have different opinions at times but they handle it well. They're excellent examples to me. I love my siblings, crazy but I love them. We would also have our quarrels but nothing like cookies to cool down the fuss. I love photography, I do most of them in film. It started as a hobby that I picked up during high school. I soon discovered my passion and talent for it. I now work for a studio as a photographer. I also have a cute red guitar and her name's Madeline. I love playing songs with her. I'm in love with music from local artists in my city. I practice parkour with my best friend. We've had our injuries but we have fun. I served an amazing mission in Chile for two years. People there are very warm and welcoming. I had the privilege of being with other missionaries who have influenced me to be a better person. Also, I love looking for small, privately-owned diners and restaurants around town. Such a great experience.

Why I am a Mormon

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has helped me focus on the better, more important things in life. I has influenced me to make meaningful decisions that lead me to great opportunities and better living. It doesn't make life easy but it definitely makes it easier. Knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares for me and a Savior who sacrificed His life for me, I can face my everyday challenges with courage and faith. The promised blessing of being with my family even after this life gives me a new view of the importance of families and how they can be a strength to us. I know that even though I have my imperfections, I can turn to Jesus Christ and repent of my errors. I know I can feel His loving arms around me as I forsake my wrong doings. I love this gospel and the blessings it brings in my life to walk the narrow road that leads to where our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are.

How I live my faith

I used to be a cub scout leader for our community before I left for my 2-year mission to Chile. It was fun being with kids and doing outdoor activities. I remember our cub camps well. I would always line up with them in the archery booth. Kids are sincere and I want to have the sincerity in me as well. I am assigned as a teacher at church and I enjoy it. Being able to learn from the experiences of the people in class is priceless. Studying for the lessons every week broadens my understanding of the scriptures. I do my best to read the scriptures everyday. There would be times when I feel exhausted from the day or I get distracted by other things, it happens to all of us. I love church activities where we can socialize and have fun. Sports activities, dances, trips, I love those. I just love being around people who inspire me to be better. Seeing their example helps me think of ways on how I can improve. The church leaders also provide great support to me by encouraging me in my decision both in school and my career. They also give great advice, especially on dating. I admire the way they treat their spouse. It's something I want to apply when I get married.
