Hi I'm Judy

I am a grandmother, a gardener, a recent college graduate, and I am a Mormon

About Me

I think of myself as an ordinary person with extraordinary blessings. I loved being a "stay at home mom" and raising my four children. After they were grown, I immersed myself in volunteer work and developed my passion for gardening through the Master Gardener program. I returned to school and graduated with a BS degree in Human Development in 2012. I loved the classroom experience and the opportunity to study with bright young minds. Now I am the grandmother of 9.5 grandchildren, and find this to be the best time of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was born into a Mormon family, I have made a conscious decision and choice to be an active member. Mormonism answers the deepest questions of the human heart. It explains who I am, what my life's true purpose is and where I am going after I leave this earth. As I strive to live the commandments of God, I find happiness and great peace in an unsettled world. The gospel brings me everyday joy.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is really my favorite way of life. It gives me an avenue to serve others, meet incredible people and contribute regularly to something greater than myself. Currently I am preparing to serve for two years with young single adults in another state. My job will be to help young adults navigate life's challenges while developing a close relationship with the Savior Jesus Christ.
