Hi I'm Jayson

I was born and raised in Henderson, Nv. I have 7 children and am a fulltime student with a fulltime job

About Me

I have 7 children I have a bachelor's degree in psychology I love to swim, fish, camp, and travel I lived in France for 2 years as a missionary and speak fluent French I am a property manager/ realtor I love to make people laugh

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because when I was a teenager, I recognized the fact that I was not happy with the way my life was going. I could see that members of the church were happy and welcoming to me when I decided to come back to church. The more I sought to understand the true principals of the gospel, the stronger the spirit told me that the things I learned were true. When I asked Heavenly Father to allow me to know if the book of mormon was truely a book of scripture and that Joseph Smith was actually called to be a prophet, the feeling of joy that overwhelmed me was exquisit and I knew that my prayer was answered. When I served as a missionary, each time I testified of these truths, that same feeling came over me and my testimony was etched in stone.

How I live my faith

My goal is to constantly feel the Lord's presence and to know where I stand with him. I know that he seeks to be a part of my life and I need to invite him to be so through my efforts to study gospel topics and think about how I can apply them to myself and my family. I recognize the inherent good in people and always try to explain to my children that if someone behaves differently from us, or differently from what we teach them, it does not make them a bad person. I want to always be able to help people feel welcome and invited wherever I am.
